Applicants for this job vacancy in Nigeria must meet the below requirements At least five years of consistent office management and secretarial experience in a professional environment, preferably multi-nationals with responsibility for:
Reviewing and editing proposals, reports and other correspondences in order to ensure that they are in line with agreed standard
Preparing proposals, reports and other correspondences with the aid of various computer applications.
Organizing and coordinating meetings (internal and external), conferences and travel arrangements
Taking and preparing minutes of meetings
Maintaining and retaining financial and insurance records for the appropriate audit periods
Receiving, directing and relaying telephone, e mail, general correspondence, fax messages and other incoming information to the right people in an efficient and timely manner.
Producing invoices and vouchers
Maintaining filing systems and schedules/calendars
Ensuring that all office equipment, are in working order and that proactive maintenance is carried out regularly
Ability to review newspapers/journals to provide relevant information, as well conduct searches with the aid of the internet
Strong team spirit, ability to pay attention to details
Strong creative and innovative skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Conscientious, confident, innovative and creative
Bachelor’s degree/Higher National Diploma with a minimum of second class honours
Proficiency in the use of computer packages such as
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project Office, Access, etc.
Ability to operate office equipment such as fax, photocopier, printers, etc.
Must not be more than 30 years by 31 May 2012.
